March-A-Thon
The March-A-Thon is an annual fundraiser at the beginning of the school year where the band parades through a local neighborhood. Neighbors can purchase lawn concerts to support the James Bowie High School Outdoor Performing Ensemble.
Snap! Raise is the online fundraising platform we are using this year! This fundraiser has historically been our largest one and significantly funds our OPE. Proceeds go to help purchase uniforms, props, our techs, and this year, getting us to Orlando! We hope to give our students the best opportunity possible in this competitive marching season, and your participation in this fundraiser makes a big difference.

Bands of Bowie Programs
The Bands of Bowie include the James Bowie Marching Band Outdoor Performing Ensemble or JBOPE (band and color guard), Freshmen Concert Bands, Wind Ensembles, Jazz Ensemble, Winter Guard and Steel Drums Ensemble.
Grand Ol’ Flag
The entire Bowie Band benefits from this subscription program. All proceeds go directly to the Band Booster organization, which uses the money to help defray the costs of running a highly competitive, nationally recognized high school band program.

The Bowie Band Booster Association assists the band financially throughout the year. We are instrumental in providing assistance to the Directors and students with many different functions and activities that occur throughout the year. We encourage you to become involved and volunteer.
